Since I've played chivalry 2 I'm not in that boat anymore! You'd get slaughtered in seconds, respawn, repeat.

I've read a lot in the past that many players here want to have game modes with way more players. Every match here feels really similar - you swing a lot moving your cam from left to right which is so confusing and, honestly, unfun. To make up for this you can move your camera while you're attacking and also while blocking to hit/block multiple opponents. However, since Chivalry 2 is made for really big battles with up to 64! players you can't log onto an opponent of course. You have a light attack and you can charge your attacks.

But on the other side it takes a whole lot off of the replayability from the game.Ĭhivalry 2 also uses a lot of mechanics that for honor has like recovery cancel and soft feints. I've now played it for a while and would like to give my review.Įven though there are 12 different classes every character has the same moveset which already takes out the main problem new players have with for honor since in order to not get totally wrecked you have to know every mix-up and every move properties (unblockable, undodgeable etc.) of every hero. I never looked for an alternative to For Honor but this game seemed interesting for a long time now and it's out now for a couple of months so many improvements happened and it's more fair now to judge and compare.
